What to wear in Photo Shoots

People are always looking for help with what to wear in photo sessions. Here are my two cents:

  1. Stay away from bright colours.

  2. You could add in small patterns.

  3. There is no need to match. In fact, it’s encouraged not to.

  4. For family photo shoots, style mom first. Wear something you normally would wear and feel good in. You can pull two colours from her outfit for dad and the kids.

  5. Aim for no more than three main colours.

  6. Wear something classic, not something trendy. Photos should be “timeless” and look good for years to come. Go for solid colours and classic cuts.
