Madeleine and Hunter - Engagement Shoot at the Kortright Centre for Conservation

Updated: Jul 14, 2023

Madeleine and Hunter are two brilliant engineers who found love while studying at the University of British Columbia. Hunter hails from Toronto, while Madeleine grew up in the beautiful province of British Columbia. Today, they both reside in Toronto and are eagerly looking forward to their wedding that I will be shooting in September.

Their love story began during their first year of engineering studies at UBC. They were both enrolled in the same class, and as fate would have it, were assigned to work on a group project together. From the moment they met, there was an undeniable spark between them. Their shared passion for engineering and their drive to succeed created a strong bond that would only continue to grow stronger with time.

Despite their different backgrounds, Madeleine and Hunter found common ground in their love for science and technology. They spent countless hours working together on projects, studying, and discussing their mutual interests. They soon realized that they had found not just a partner in their academic pursuits, but a life partner as well.

After graduation, Hunter moved to Toronto to pursue his career in electrical engineering, while Madeleine stayed in British Columbia for a few years to gain experience in her field. Eventually, she too moved to Toronto to be with Hunter, and the two have been inseparable ever since.

I shot Hunter's cousin's wedding last year and they flattered me when they said they loved my photos and wanted me to shoot their wedding as well. They're getting married this year in September at the Kortright Centre for Conservation in Vaughan (the same location where I shot their engagement photo shoot) with an outdoor ceremony in the forest with stunning views of the surrounding vistas followed by a reception at a barn. I'm super excited for them and cannot wait for their wedding day.
