When Samer called me and told me he would be proposing to his girlfriend, I was stoked. I always get excited when someone reaches out about photographing a proposal because it's getting to snap a moment in a couple’s relationship that is just so full of magic. The romance, anticipation, excitement – it’s all enough to make your heart skip a beat.
His idea was to take her to Lake Wilcox Park in Richmond Hill to supposedly meet their families and spend time with them. Little did she know, he would propose to her in front of all of them and, out of nowhere, two photographers (my wife Heidi and I) and a violinist would pop up to do their thing.
She said yes, and just like that, a new chapter in their life had begun!
