Aditi and Anand - Indian Wedding in Toronto

Updated: Nov 20, 2018

This Indian wedding is like no other Indian wedding I've ever been to. Before I say anything, there is a special milestone I'm celebrating with this wedding. This was a three day wedding (which is not really the milestone since this is the case with many Indian weddings) with the third day being an 18 hour shoot. Yes, I was shooting the third day from 6:00 am at the bride's house and finished at 12:20 am when the bride and groom did their sparkler exit send off. I was very tired by the end of the night but very happy with this wedding nonetheless.

Aditi and Anand met online through a matrimonial website. She lives in Canada and he lives in the US. After countless phone calls and messages, they decided to meet, and from their first date at Niagara Falls they became inseparable. They clicked as possible new best friends, and became much more.

This wedding was full of both tradition and energy. They had several traditional Hindu ceremonies that were followed by a party at Woodbine Banquet Hall. I was amazed at the number of performances that took place. There were at least seven Bollywood style dances by the bride and groom's close family and friends. Almost every single one of the guests is a great dancer too.
